Steve Darmawan, MD, FAAP
Dr. Steve Darmawan is a pediatrician with over 22 years of experience. He practiced in Salinas and the greater Monterey area for nearly a decade when he decided to establish the St. Junipero Children's Clinic in Salinas, California.
Dr. Darmawan graduated with honors from Iowa State University in Biochemistry. He received his medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2001, and went on to do his residency at Driscoll Children's Hospital. Dr. Darmawan then practiced in San Antonio, Texas for three years before moving to California.
Dr. Darmawan is a board certified pediatrician and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He served as the chair of the Department of Pediatrics at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital from 2013 to 2016.
Dr. Darmawan enjoys playing basketball, travelling and spending time with his wife and 2 children.
